Stone Haven Wedding Venue
Section, Alabama
Perched atop a mountain in Section, Alabama, Stone Haven Wedding Venue is one of the South's most breathtaking and distinctive settings for a wedding day. Where the sky meets the treetops and light pours through walls of glass, this is a venue that doesn't simply host a celebration, it becomes part of the story.
When Traveling Weddings with Taylor first reached out about this collaboration at Stone Haven Wedding Venue, I knew immediately that this was something extraordinary. Stone Haven is not simply a venue, it is an experience. Sitting high above the Alabama landscape, with its stunning glass atrium and seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, it offers a setting that is equal parts dramatic and intimate, grand and deeply personal.
This styled shoot was a celebration of two lovers. A visual ode to devotion, romance, and the kind of beauty that only exists when the right creative team comes together in the right place. And in Section, Alabama, on top of a mountain, surrounded by bloom, the most beautiful light and silk, we found exactly that.
About Stone Haven Wedding Venue

Nestled atop a mountain, the property offers some of the most breathtaking views in the state. And its signature glass atrium is an architectural marvel that brides, wedding planners, and photographers simply dream about.
The interplay of indoor and outdoor spaces gives couples a remarkable variety of backdrops across a single wedding day. Ceremony in the open air with mountain sky above; reception within the warm, luminous glow of the atrium. The light at Stone Haven is extraordinary at every hour. Soft and golden in the morning, dramatic and directional by afternoon, and utterly magical at dusk.

The Creative Vision
The concept behind this shoot was beautifully simple: two lovers, two swans, one timeless story. Swans have long been a symbol of enduring love — they pair for life, they move through the world with effortless grace, and there is something about their silhouette that is inherently romantic and editorial all at once.
That symbolism threaded through every single detail of the day. Draped fabric was shaped into a sweeping pink heart, a quiet, sculptural nod to two souls intertwined. A grand tiered ivory cake crowned with two hand-placed swans stood as the centerpiece of our curved tablescape. Nothing was accidental. Everything whispered the same story.
The Florals & Design Details
Campbell Creative Floral Co brought the lush, garden-inspired vision to life with a palette that felt plucked from the most romantic corner of an English countryside. Blush pink, soft ivory, sage green, butter yellow, and whisper blue woven together through garden roses, magenta tulips, pink iris, and wild meadow blooms.
The curved tablescape was a showstopper in every sense. Abundant, layered, and deeply alive. Nuage Design Inc provided the linens that anchored the aesthetic, while Love Archives created the signature draped heart installation that became the visual heart of the entire shoot. Event Work Rentals brought in the furniture and styling pieces that completed the scene.
Crimson Letters designed the stationery suite. The kind of handmade invitation that sets a tone before a single word is read. Crimson Letters' hand painted wedding invitations are a true work of art.
The Bridal Fashion
Four gowns. Four completely distinct expressions of bridal beauty. And all are absolutely unforgettable.
The first look featured a gown from Odylyne the Ceremony. A brand synonymous with romantic, free-spirited femininity and the kind of effortless elegance that photographs like a dream. Soft, flowing, and utterly dreamy against the mountain backdrop and the blooms of Campbell Creative Floral Co.
The second look introduced us to Salvador Medina Atelier. An emerging designer whose work carries all the hallmarks of couture craftsmanship with a fresh, distinctive point of view. Erica Elizabeth Pretty Things completed each look with bridal veils that added a layer of romance and movement that only the finest veils can deliver.
Hair by Hair On 1 Hundred and makeup by Makeup and Mane by Ivy ensured every look was as polished and editorial as the setting deserved.
